Book Review: Peter Robinson Gallows View (Inspector Banks #1)
Gallows View is the first novel in the Inspector Banks series by author Peter Robinson. A peeping tom has stalking women in the area, a gang is doing robberies of the rich which ends in one women being raped, and an old woman has been murdered. Banks is called into investigate and which could end up leaving his family threatened.
You could describe Inspector Banks as the Inspector Morse of the north and the books are likely to appeal to the avid readers of Colin Dexter's novels.
