Last Bus To Woodstock is the first novel in the Inspector Morse series of novels by Colin Dexter. After hitching a lift while waiting for a bus, Sylvia Kaye is founded murdered and raped in the car park of the Black Prince pub in Woodstock. A number of suspects come to Morse's attention but the investigation will lead to him high powered people within the University at Oxford.
The plot is well developed there are many twists and turns along the way. It is only Morse's razorlike mind that will solve the case.
