Book Review: Kathy Reichs Death Du Jour (Temperance Brennan #2)

Death Du Jour is the second novel in the Temperance Brennanseries by author Kathy Reichs. Brennan is called to a house fire while she is is Montreal exhuming remains of a nun. A young family has been found burnt in the remains. There are no women and seemingly no clues as to arsonist. The investigation will lead Brennan onto the trail of Satan worshipers and religious cults.
The plot is an excelllent one, the action picks up straight away and you are kept page turning throughout the novel. Claudel and Charbonneau are given much less of a role in this book and instead Brennan teams up with Detective Ryan of the FBI, someone with whom Brennan will continue to have an on off relationship over the books.
