Book Review: Graham Masterton Broken Angels (DS Katie Maguire #2)
White Bones is the second novel in the DS Katie Maguire series by author Graham Masterton. DS Katie Maguire is called in to investigate when the body of a priest is found cut up in a plastic bag by some fisherman. The case seems to be linked to a cover up when more priests are found dead. Under pressure by the church to close the case DS Katie MacGuire believes that there is more here than meets the eye.
Two events largely dominate Irish Crime fiction, the Troubles and the Catholic abuse scandal. This book is dominated by the latter and delves into the horrific world that this caused the victims.
