Book Review: MC Beaton Death of A Cad Hamish Macbeth #2)
Death of Cad is the second novel in the Hamish Macbeth series by author MC Beaton. Former army captain and serial womaniser Captain Bartlett is found, having been shot, while he was out hunting for game and cheating on a bet he had made. It is soon discovered that the shooting was not accident but murder.
All in all I was pleasantly surprised about by Death of a Cad. Having read the first one this one I faced with a bit of trepidation.
The book is a much easier read than the first and it is well worth sticking with the series. .Read the full review here
